Ick Worms...gotta love em

I got the idea for this fellow watching a documentary on how bones are picked clean by flesh eating beetles.My friend was feeding his lizard some meal worms and he told me if you keep the worms around long enough they become these weird black beetle.

So I thought hey what happens if meal worms get mutated or corrupted by some arcane device of some kind hence this handsome fellow. Well lets be glad its not fully evolved who knows what it will look like when it grows up.....
