Overbite

Not your normal run of the mill monster piece, this was possibly birthed from a subliminally dirty mind or a ghastly desire to make you uncomfortable and make you do a double take. it was intended to be a cover piece for a horror novel but I scrapped this idea and decided on redoing it. the Phallic part was unintentional and is not meant to be a phallus but merely a part of the back ground. but alas we all have our unintentional parts in our creations at times, so I will just post him here and let you enjoy Overbite cute little bugger isn't he?

We all have a primal fear of spiders and deep dark places. One's own home can sometimes provide the greatest catalyst to our fear in the most smallest of creatures and put in the most common of places. combined with the unknown and the rush of fear we can envision some of the most ghastly of probabilities when we venture into a place with little lighting and even less courage. I give you a probable out come form an improbable scenario made only possible from the recess of our greatest of insecurities.But we never know when that improbable scenario can become all to real, I leave you the viewer to garner your own conclusion.

well here is monthly post for my favorite month of the year, October and what better way than to take a Don Kenn drawing and put my own spin on it.  Here is the Don Kenn Drawing that inspired me to do this particular painting. I simply love this mans Drawings and am just always inspired by how he takes a so simple setting and makes it uneasy creepy and unsettling.  Here is my take on the inspired drawing.
